PDF Pacific Place is pure luxury. Stores include Loewe, Louis Vuitton, Burberry, Chanel, Harvey Nichols and of course, the famous Lane Crawford, Hong Kong’s equivalent to Bergdorf Goodman. The Pacific Place location of Lane Crawfurd, however, will be shutting down in the new year. Burberry will eventually be taking over part of the location, but there’s no word on what will take over the rest.

Pacific Place also has more affordable stores such as Zara, Mango and Armani Exchange, but the likes of H&M and Forever21 are nowhere to be found. There are more affordable stores in adjoining malls (Queensway Plaza and the United Centre – these places also have more local shops, including Sasa, a Sephora-like beauty place. Unlike Sephora, Sasa’s brands are more like what one would find in a Canadian or American drugstore (Maybelline and the like), but those who don’t want to spend thousands may find the place limiting. Pacific Place is also home to an AMC movie theatre, showing both Chinese and English movies and of course, many restaurants with a variety of different cuisines, including Chinese, Japanese, Italian and “American.”

One interesting store at Pacific Place is The Great Food Hall, the supermarket located in the underground parking level of the mall. Accessible from Harvey Nichols, this supermarket not only sells both Eastern and Western specialties, complete with prepared food items, but also boasts two restaurants as well as a coffee and gelato bar. If you are taking the MTR, get off at Admiralty station.
