Highlights from World MasterCard Fashion Week: Day 1

Toronto’s World MasterCard Fashion Week opened last night with its usual Holt Renfrew show.  However, rather than featuring Canadian designers’ Spring/Summer 2013 collections who aren’t having their own shows at World MasterCard FashionWeek, the entire show featured pieces by various national and international designers that are available at Holts right now.  Kind of strange, in my opinion.  Following the Holt Renfrew presentation were two other shows, Pink Tartan and evening gowns by Pavoni – gorgeous pieces that make one want to go to as many red carpet events as they can…
