Wesley Badajak’s LOVAS Fall/Winter 2011 is called “Sisters” which honours his mother, Manda Badanjak and aunt, Marija Vejin, both immigrants from Croatia who arrived in the mid-1970s. Shows today include Micalla, a jewellery line based out of Montreal, as well as LOVAS, Comrags and KRANE Design. Micalla, which was first to show, took place in the smaller studio space where model donning basic black walked down the small runway wearing dangly, glittery pieces. More to come as the day goes on…
