CB2 Opens First Store in Toronto

CB2, sister store to Crate and Barrel, opened its first Canadian location on Bathurst and Queen Street West on Saturday at what used to be the Big Bop. Featuring its spring 2012 collection, the pieces are perfect for Toronto’s smaller, urban spaces.  Favourites in the collection include:

Like Crate and Barrel, CB2 also sells home-related items such as plates, cups, glasses and cutlery.  The most interesting piece I saw were the clothes pin “chopsticks,” something that could make traditionalists squirm.  I liked them, however, and might get some to use as tongs (if they were shorter, they’d be great “training” chopsticks for young children).

Another Canadian location is slated to open on Robson Street in Vancouver later this year.
